Semester 2 is in Session! Limited space still available!
It is SO IMPORTANT to us to get the kids back together in some semblance of normalcy, but we do ask that you remind your child that we WILL be socially distancing in classes and stunts and partner work, including high fives and hugs are on hold at this time!
Please see below on some other details for the studio!
**UPON ENTRY TO THE STUDIO:** Street shoes will NOT be allowed in the studio, so please bring your sambas or other sneakers in to change into once you reach our lobby. The rink doors have been designated for our own access on the right side when you are facing the building. There will be several hand sanitizer stations available to you as well as the bathrooms to thoroughly wash hands. The sanitizer solution includes 70% ethyl alcohol, above and beyond the CDC's guideline of 60%. We will be taking both staff and students temperature prior to entering our lobby and per CDC Guidelines, anyone (student or staff) with a body temperature greater than 100.4 degrees will not be allowed into the studio.
**CONTACTLESS PAYMENT/REGISTRATION:** All registrations and payments are being converted to an online, no contact format and a sneeze guard will be installed in the lobby window to the front desk.
**LOBBY/GUESTS**: At this time, our lobby is closed to parents and siblings.
** DROP OFF/PICK UP PROCEDURES**Please arrive a few minutes early for pick up and drop off. We will do our best to pick students up curbside prior to the start of each class as well as walk them out at the end of each class. Should you arrive late, students may enter the building and temperature will be checked prior to entry into the studio. We will have carpet markers spaced out 6ft apart in the hallway for students to wait out in the even that they are early for class and parents are unable to wait curbside.
**CLEANING and SANITIZING:** In addition to our existing cleaning protocols, we've added a detailed sanitizing and deep-cleaning overnight where we will be fogging all of our equipment down with an approved solution from CDC and under direction from the local EMT/Fire Chief which is what they have been doing for months on all of their equipment and trucks for the last several months.
**FACE MASKS/ CLOTH COVERINGS:** Masks are required for entering the rink and until each student is at their designated spot in the room where class is being held. Once students are in their spot, they may remove their mask should they prefer. Per CT State Guidelines "Establishments that require customers to wear a mask while exercising must maintain 6 ft of space between equipment. Establishments that do not require customers to wear a mask while exercising must maintain 12 ft of space between equipment." We have designated our space to allow the students and staff 12 ft of space to ensure all safety measures are being followed.
We can't wait to welcome everyone back even if its from a distance!!! Thank you so much for your kind words and support over the last few months, THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF PLAYSTRONG!!
