IMPORTANT INFO

• ​Session 1 is a 11 week session, Session 2 and 3 are both 8 weeks, and Session 4 is 9 weeks. 

• All sessions (1-3) auto renew unless you email us to cancel re-enrollment of new session!

• Students may make up TWO missed classes in any other similar age group class. All makeups must be completed within the same semester - they DO NOT carry over.

• Students must commit to the entire session. Tuition and registration fee is non-refundable and non transferrable. 

• Sessions will only be prorated if a student enrolls after halfway through the semester.

• All classes will automatically be converted to zoom online format in the event of a COVID closure, and refunds/credits will not be available.

Halloween - October 31

Thanksgiving Recess - November 20-25 (Simsbury Celebrates show prep only)

Holiday Recess - December 24 - January 1 

Spring Recess April 14-20

Memorial Day - May 26

 

Classes ARE held the following dates:

Rosh Hashanah - September 16

Yom Kippur - September 25

Indigenous Peoples' Day - October 9

Election Day - November 7

MLK Day - January 20

February 17 and 18 - Winter Recess

UNEXPECTED CLOSINGS  

If the studio is forced to close due to weather, we will post on our social media pages (Facebook and Instagram @playstrongstudio) Make ups for these closures are not guaranteed and are available for these classes on a case by case basis.

STUDIO POLICIES

**UPON ENTRY TO THE STUDIO:** Street shoes will NOT be allowed in the studio, so please bring your sambas or other sneakers in to change into once you reach our lobby. There will be several hand sanitizer stations available to you as well as the bathrooms to thoroughly wash hands. The sanitizer solution includes 70% ethyl alcohol, above and beyond the CDC's guideline of 60%. 

 
HAIR/CLOTHES: Hair MUST BE tied back, off of your face. Clothes should not hinder movement or the ability to be spotted. Due to the various stunts performed in class, we strongly recommend wearing compression shorts underneath your shorts and modest tank tops/tshirts.  

 

FOOTWEAR: Adidas Sambas are required for all classes 5+. If you forget your sneakers you will be sitting out. NO BARE FEET (with the exception of tiny tots and pre-tumble). 

 

DRINK POLICY: No food or drink other than water is allowed in the tumble rooms. Drinks may be left in the lobby during classes.

 

FOOD/ALLERGY: All food brought in must be peanut/tree nut free and only eaten in the lobby area. Please clean up after yourself. 

 

DROP OFF/PICK UP: Please arrive 5 minutes before class and pick up 5 minutes after class has ended. Children under 13 years old are not permitted to leave the 2nd floor without a parent/guardian. 

 

CELL PHONE USE:  Students are not permitted to have cellphones in class and are encouraged to leave them at home. Playstrong Studio LLC is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged phones. We have a landline phone for emergency use. 

 

BEHAVIOR POLICY: Disrespectful and/or vulgar vocabulary will not be tolerated. Repeated disruptions to class may cause instructors to remove a child from class. If a child is engaging in disruptive behavior, Playstrong instructors will inform the parent/guardian two times. The third offense will cause Playstrong instructors to remove the child permanently from the class. Monies paid will not be refunded.
